The family behind Legacy Landing
The Legacy at Madison was created by Bettye Bell and Brittany Bell Surratt — a mother-daughter venture rooted in family, faith, and a love of preserving history.

- A retired educator and community leader whose career spans more than three decades of service in education and youth development. She is passionate about empowering others, preserving cultural heritage, and creating spaces where people feel welcomed and valued.
- Brittany Bell Surratt · Co-Founder
- A gifted storyteller and visionary who brings creativity, hospitality, and a passion for history to every endeavor. Together with her mother, she creates experiences that celebrate the rich heritage of Natchez while offering visitors a sense of belonging and connection.
